ERA Videos

In Psychopathology:‌ ‌An‌ ‌Empathic‌ ‌Representational‌ ‌Approach‌ ‌(ERA), we develop a detailed and comprehensive framework for the practice of clarifying symptoms for clinical applications. We consider the clinical dialogue between the patient and the clinician as a fundamental method to access individual psychopathological information. With insights from the current framework, with integrations of relevant ideas from ethnography, phenomenology, cognitive science as well as clinical sciences, these videos highlight step-by-step how information can be transferred from the patient to the clinician through a collaborative dialogue cycle.
